Local Area and getting to Tarquinia
Tarquinia, situated in northern Lazio, is just over a one-hour drive from Rome, in the direction of Tuscany.
Getting There
Tarquina is 80 km from Fiumicino international airport. It is 97 km to Ciampino Airport which is well serviced by low cost airlines including Ryanair and Easy Jet.Both airports are well connected by Autostrade.Car hire is available at both airports and while a car would be useful it is not essential.

Tarquinia train Station is 3 Km from the centre with a regular train service to Rome and the city of Pisa.Civitavecchia is 20 kms with a ferry connection to the beautiful island of Sardinia.
